G. Clearing Busts

Yes, you MUST track your busts. Most of the player utilities have some way of doing that, but I find a piece of paper most effective. And when my partner gets busted, he sends me a note where. I keep his bust info seperate from mine, so I know what ports I can work to try and clear his busts. If he gets busted at a port where I was busted previously, I mark out my bust - it is no longer applicable, as the port now remembers my partner instead of me. (TW-FIDO, Stephen Whitis, 06/26/96)
 
Q: Once I get my partner in an evil corp, and we go to clear each others busts....will a fake bust do it?

A: No. A fake bust costs you more than a regular busts, but doesn't count as a bust as far as the port is concerned. You can continue to use that port, and your partners bust is still remembered there. (TW-FIDO, Stephen Whitis, 06/26/96)
