I.     Port Upgrading

If you're stealing at a port that doesn't have the equipment to steal just upgrade the port. Upgrading 25 will put 250 holds of equipment on the station. (AX.BBS/TW.NET - ML:Tigtoad@ROK, 7/4/96).
 
This tactic can also be used to avoid extended searches for a port selling equipment. Instead of searching around for a port selling equipment just upgrade a nearby equipment buying port. Then you steal the amount that was generated by the upgrade. (AX.BBS/TW.NET - ML:Jaguar@PHB, 6/29/96).
